i did have two snails...they didn't look all that great when i got them and they kept falling on their backs and couldn't flip themselves over. So I'd have to do it myself and it got old very quickly...so it didn't help that they'd be on their backs for weeks on end. hahah. i'm a snail killer! The sucker fish I WANTED to get was like $3-5 versus $1.15 for the algea eater. The sucker fishes grow to like 14 inches too!!! Soo...for now i'll stick with the algea eater. He's not as cool but my water is clearer.
